This year, no matter how far behind I get, I'm going to keep plodding forward.I think we all need to remember that while the big goal may be reaching 50,000 words in a month, the real behind the scenes goal is to get us writing as much as we can, when we can.So chin up and just keep writing whenever you can. And remember: if you reach 10,000 by the end of November, that's 10,000 words you hadn't written before.  I’m also behind, due to life (reno, sickness, stress, etc). When I got behind last year, I simply quit. There's nothing wrong with the concept, but it sets expectations that are hard to meet. Use the month as motivation to keep coming back to the page, but don't stress when you can't write.
