Edit: I guess J.Kaye is no longer doing it, but has passed it on to Sheila.
J.Kaye created a Meme for Mondays where you list the books you have recently completed this week, books you are currently reading, and books you hope to read this week. This is one of my favorite memes (and favorite bloggers) so make sure you check it out and participate, if you can!
Because Once a Witch took me WAY too long to read, and I haven’t read much in the past month or so – I decided to start off with some easy YA/Children’s books for the week to get the reading mojo back in swing.
The books I have read in the past week:
- Once a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough
Books I am currently reading:
- Horrid Henry’s Underpants by Francesca Simon
Books I plan on reading this week:
- Benjamin Pratt & The of the Keeper’s School: We the Children by Andrew Clements
What are YOU reading?

Enjoy your books!

you know, i’m kinda glad now, that I couldn’t find Once a Witch at the library yesterday. I definitely could not have handled reading a book that would take some time to work my way through.
Hope you have a wonderful time readin this week.

I think it was just me. A few other people have read it in one sitting. I have no idea what my issue was because it wasn’t at all a DIFFICULT read.. rather easy.

I am interested in your review of Once A Witch. I have seen the book around but don’t think I have read any reviews on it yet.
I am reading a series of books that are taking me longer than expected but liking them.
Have a super reading week

I read Once a Witch last week too! But that was my light reading for the week – I finished it in a night! Did you not enjoy it?

I enjoyed it.. I really have NO CLUE why it took me so long to read it. I just think it lacked the OOMPH to keep reading – although I can’t quite put my finger on it. Could have just been my state of mind this month — with so much going on.
