I have jumped on the “Book Challenge” bandwagon. The first challenge to pull me in is the Japanese Literature Challenge (#3) over at Dolce Bellezza. Anyone who knows me in real life knows that I am completely fascinated by Japan and all it has to offer. However, I am completely clueless as to Japanese authors! I (do) happen to have some shelved manga that I have yet to read. Should I go into the “safe” zone, or venture into uncharted literary territory and discover what other beauties Japan has to offer, written in their words?
Any suggestions?
