I’ll be honest – I was not a fan of the Twilight series. The storyline had “capture my attention” abilities yet the storyline was so deplorably cheesy and immature. Did I read all of the books? Of course! I kept trying to give Meyer the benefit of the doubt, hoping she’d show some kind of true character development. After complaining enough about my disappointment on the series, I had some friends recommend the Southern Vampire/Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood series (Which ever you care to call it). I was told that the writing was much more mature and developed and the book series was as good as “crack”.
I then discovered there was a Sookie Stackhouse Reading Challenege over at Beth Fish Reads! The challenge is reading the entire series in a span of a year (From July 1st 2009 to June 30th 2010). Can I read the entire series in a year? I sure think so! If they are as good as everyone I have talked to has said they are – then I will definitely be able to complete this challenge!

- Club Dead
- Dead to the World
- Dead as a Doornail
- Definitely Dead
- All Together Dead
- From Dead to Worse
- Dead and Gone
I will be reading these novels in between my other challenges, ARC novels, and personal choices! I am very excited to start this series! I will also be using this post to document my progress!

I just finished the first book…I think I can read them all in a year!
