New Lake House

My husband and I just bought a lake house. We are so excited about our second home. A couple months ago we started looking at fun weekend getaways. Before we knew it, we were in the market for a second home. There is no way for me to express how excited I am about this! I can’t wait to decorate it in some type of mountain theme. I see many weekends with friends and times with the kids in our future.

As excited as I am, the first thing I did was start wondering what might go wrong. I told my husband to go to Home-Alarm-Systems.com and find an alarm system. With a second home, there is always a high risk of robbery. This would at least make me feel like the house was protected. Then I started worrying about flooding. What if there was a sudden rainstorm? Would the house flood because of the lake? I honestly worry about my paranoia sometimes. My husband assured me everything would be fine and we are heading up to the house this weekend to enjoy the fabulous weather.

Now we just need to find a boat.
