My MS students and my fantabulous library aide LOVE this series, but for me, it's just kind of blah. I only read Shiver and passed on the other two, but it just did not seem like anything special to me. It wasn't awful, but I really don't understand all the fuss.

Two readers. One book. Two very different reviews! I loved this book. It was one of my favorite YA books of 2009. Maggie Stiefvater's writing was beautiful and I thought the story itself was well done.

I was not a big fan of this book, and I had many of the same problems that you did. I didn't get how the two of them were drawn together at all. I confess to skimming parts of it, so I suppose I cared enough to finish the book, which is saying something.
