Whovian Book Bloggers BEWARE
There is a Doctor Who graphic novel circulating the interweb. I only stumbled upon this while frolicking around NetGalley.
My eyes bugged out.
It’s the DOCTOR!
Then, there is Amy and Rory (oh, how I miss Amy & Rory). Why didn’t anyone tell me there was a Doctor Who graphic novel series? This is #3 so where have I been for the other volumes? I am aware of the novels, but graphic novels? I had no idea.
I like graphic novels, like any good geek girl should.
I don’t know if I should feel let down from my Whovian friends for not relating this information to me, or myself, for not knowing about them to begin with.
When I mentioned it on Twitter, yesterday, Gail (Ticket to Anywhere and fellow Whovian) hadn’t known about it either. I hope she is just as happy as I am!
Another thing that I am really giddy about today
New Whovian, Alison (BeingAlison) is sending me her extra FitBit Zip. Pairing the FitBit with my new treadmill and determination to fill my wardrobe with ModCloth, I hope to soon be blogging about my successes over on Alison’s Blog, BeingAlison.I will let you know when my review of the FitBit goes live over at Alison’s blog. Until then, I will probably talk a lot about it on my Facebook or Twitter.
I have been hearing a lot about the FitBit, lately so I am incredibly excited to be able to try it out.
What is the FitBit Zip?
Get a kick out of fitness with this little device. It tracks your steps, distance, and calories burned – and syncs those stats to your computer and select smartphones. In doing so, it celebrates how much more you do each day. Zip™ encourages you to set goals, challenge friends, and go farther – one step at time. That’s how you turn everyday life into a social, achievable, awesome path to fitness. – FitBit.com
I tend to read a lot on the treadmill, so I can’t think of any reason not to use it every single day. Getting skinny with my nose in a book? Yeah, this book bloggers dream come true.
