Wait.. They Sell Books Here?

Wait.. They sell books here?

I was doing a little browser shopping (like window shopping, but online) when I stumbled upon some interesting bookish finds. The thing is, it wasn’t normally a store that I would think to purchase books from. However, they had some fun and unique books. I don’t know about you, but I haven’t seen these anywhere else.

Have you?

Here are some of my favorites available at

Me Without You [$9.99] – Have you been separated from your loved one? I think this would be an adorable gift to send in a care package; whether it is to your child away at college, or a military family separated by work. Plus, it makes a Doctor Who reference and you know how I feel about Doctor Who.

The Jedi Path [$19.99] – I love books that LOOK personal (even if you know it’s printed.) Like the Jedi Path guide to becoming a Jedi includes “handwritten” notes. Such a cute and interesting looking book for the Star Wars fan in your life. (I think it would be a great coffee table book!)

Kind Regards - The Lost Art of Letter WritingBooks - Kind Regards

Kind Regards – The Lost Art of Letter Writing [$15.99] – I was just thinking about how I wanted to start up a hand-written letter campaign/project with friends. I think the last time that I wrote a hand-written letter was in high school or college. Even then, it wasn’t sealed, mailed, and delivered. With email, instant messaging, and texting, we are missing out on the beautiful concept of hand-written notes.

Finish This Book [$14.99] Like a true adventure within a book. This book gives you clues to help you finish the book. How fun is that? You make maps and decode various clues. There are various assignments you must complete in order to Finish This Book.

Aren’t these books pretty cool and unique? I had a feeling that if I spotted them in the store, I probably wouldn’t leave the store for ours as I would be looking through everything.

  1. Me Without You looks super cute! My husband got The Jedi Path for Christmas, but I don’t think he’s read too much of it yet. It was definitely a great gift idea, though!

Is your husband a big reader as well, or no? Have you had the chance to look through The Jedi Path? I think it looks like a fun read. :)

  2. Not familiar with ModCloth, but love these books! Like you, I love books with simulated notes inside so The Jedi Path looks amazing. Plus, it’s Star Wars! So want this one!

Kind Regards looks like another good one! If you’re interested, there’s a Month of Letter Writing Challenge next month at I did it last year and had a blast! I even have a post about it scheduled for Friday.
